About Rotary

So what is Rotary?

Rotary is a global network and its members are known as “Rotarians”.

Exe Valley Rotary is one of 80 Rotary clubs groups in the SW of England (Rotary District 1175) – and each is different. There is an e-club, but most meet, either over breakfast, at lunch or (as with Exe Valley) during the evening. We meet on Wednesday evenings (though during present times we are getting together using “Zoom” rather than over a meal).

It’s a fulfilling role, and Rotarians can get involved as much or as little as their time will allow. Members meet on a regular basis to enjoy friendship, networking and to plan projects that will benefit the lives of others. Clubs utilise the skills, expertise and dedication of their members to help improve the lives of people in communities both at home and abroad, or put another way…

Together People Create Change
Our Values Matrix

As a member of Exe Valley Rotary you can also attend any Rotary Club in the world as of right (you are in effect a member of every Rotary Club in the world, giving business trips and holidays abroad a different dimension).

So what do we aim to achieve?
Fellowship, Integrity, Diversity, Service and Leadership

Above all, then, we are volunteers who enjoy each other’s company and have a good time whilst serving the community.
