The Templeton Trail is back by Popular Demand - Sunday 14th April 2019
Choice of (approx:) 5K & 10K for differing abilities
The Templeton Trails will take place on Sunday 14th April 2019. An exciting cross-country fun run where you will get to see parts of the Devon countryside at its glorious Springtime best during a 5k or 10k run wholly off the road.
Last year saw the largest turn-out of runners to date for this event and without exception, they were wholly positive about the experience. Do come along with your fellow runners and help us to make this year bigger and better than ever.
The event will be off-road, principally using the attractive private woodland roads and tracks of the Cruys Morchard Estate, an experience unique to this event. Up hill and down dale, and if you are lucky, through a couple of streams as well so a few wet and muddy areas are to be expected, (they aren't guaranteed, but be prepared for them all the same - it all adds to the fun).
The event will start and finish at Templeton village hall, EX16 8BJ where drinks and light snacks will be available.
Free parking is also available.
Registration: From: 10.30a.m.
Start Time: From 11.00am
Certificates of Achievement
Although a certificate of achievement will be awarded to all those completing the event, this is purely a fun run with no prizes for coming first, and no times recorded. Feel free to raise sponsorship for your own good causes and run as families if preferred.
The Calvert Trust will join with Exe Valley Rotary Charity as the main benefactors of this year's event.
